Our Story
McLean Veterinary Sports Medicine (MVSM) was founded in Drexel Hill, PA by Dr. Hannah McLean and her husband to provide holistic and personalized sports medicine diagnoses, treatments, and rehabilitative therapy referrals for your pets. We are lucky to partner with multiple area veterinary and rehabilitation clinics with the aim to provide accessible and effective veterinary care to your companion animals.
Dr. Hannah McLean
First and foremost, Hannah is passionate about patient care and is an adoring dog and cat mom. Secondly, Dr. McLean is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (DACVSMR). She graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After graduation she completed a one-year rotating internship at Dogwood Veterinary Specialty Center in Richmond, VA followed by a three-year Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at The University of Tennessee. During her residency she completed and instructed the Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) course.
In private practice, Dr. McLean has held the positions of Director of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at both Saint Francis Veterinary hospital in Swedesboro, New Jersey, and Veterinary Orthopedic Specialty Medicine (VOSM) in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. She lives in Drexel Hill, PA with her husband, four dogs and one cat.
